In this exclusive interview, Tania Victoria Marin shares her journey through fashion, entrepreneurship and motherhood, revealing the values that guide her both personally and professionally. From her approach to style and success to the lessons learned through life’s unexpected moments, she opens up about authenticity, resilience and the importance of creating a life that stays true to who she is.

1. Throughout your career, you’ve built an image of elegance and strength. What part of your personality do you think the public has yet to discover?
I think people often see the woman standing in front of the camera, but not the one constantly evolving behind it. I’m deeply introspective. I spend a lot of time questioning myself, learning, and trying to become a better mother, wife, entrepreneur, and human being. My greatest strength has never been perfection—it’s resilience. Every challenge has softened me, not hardened me, and I think that’s the side of me people are only beginning to see.
2. You studied Industrial Engineering before pursuing fashion professionally. How has that education shaped the way you approach your career?
Engineering taught me to think beyond the moment. It gave me discipline, structure, and the ability to build instead of simply react. Creativity is essential in fashion, but longevity comes from strategy. Every decision I make today—whether it’s a brand partnership, a business, or a creative project—is guided by intention rather than impulse.
3. At a time when social media often presents perfect lives, what does authenticity mean to you?
Authenticity is having the courage to be seen as you truly are. I’ve learned that people aren’t inspired by perfection—they’re inspired by humanity. My life has included extraordinary opportunities, but it’s also included loss, recovery, motherhood, and moments that completely reshaped me. I don’t want to inspire women to chase a flawless life. I want to remind them that beauty also exists in resilience.
4. You’ve successfully balanced motherhood, entrepreneurship, and an international career. What’s the greatest lesson that balance has taught you?
That balance isn’t something you achieve once—it’s something you choose every single day. I’ve stopped chasing the idea of doing everything perfectly. Instead, I focus on being fully present wherever I am. My children have taught me that success feels empty if it costs you the moments you’ll never get back.
5. Fashion is constantly evolving, but style endures. How would you define your personal aesthetic today?
Quiet confidence. I love timeless silhouettes, natural textures, and pieces that feel effortless rather than loud. I’ve become less interested in trends and more interested in permanence. To me, true luxury isn’t about excess—it’s about quality, intention, and wearing something that feels completely authentic to who you are.
6. After walking international runways, what do you look for when deciding to take on a new project?
Connection. Today I ask myself a very simple question: Does this represent the woman I’m becoming? I’m no longer interested in saying yes simply because an opportunity is prestigious. I want every collaboration to align with my values, tell a meaningful story, and leave something positive behind.
7. Beyond beauty, what kind of influence do you hope to have on the next generation of Latina women?
I hope they understand that they don’t have to become someone else to succeed. Our softness is not a weakness. Our femininity doesn’t diminish our ambition. Motherhood doesn’t erase our dreams—it can expand them. I want young women to know they are allowed to evolve, to begin again, and to define success on their own terms
8. Has there ever been a moment in your life when you felt you had to reinvent yourself completely? What did that experience teach you?
Yes. Becoming a mother changed me, but surviving a life-threatening birth changed me even more. There was a version of me that existed before that moment, and another that emerged afterward. It taught me that life can change in an instant, and that our greatest transformations rarely happen by choice. They happen when life invites us to rediscover who we truly are. That experience made me slower, more grateful, and much more intentional about how I spend my time.
9. If you could collaborate with any designer, photographer, or fashion house, who would it be—and what story would you want to tell together?
Ralph Lauren has always represented something I deeply connect with: timeless elegance, family, heritage, and the beauty of a life well lived. I would love to tell the story of the modern woman—someone who can lead a business, raise a family, embrace femininity, and still remain deeply connected to nature, faith, and authenticity. I think that’s a story many women are longing to see reflected today.
10. Looking ahead ten years, what legacy would you like to leave—not only as a model and entrepreneur, but as a woman?
If someone remembers the campaigns I’ve done, I’ll be grateful. But if my children remember the way I loved, the way I persevered, and the values I lived by, that will be my greatest success.
I hope my legacy isn’t simply about beauty or business, but about showing that a woman can build an extraordinary life without sacrificing her kindness, her faith, or her authenticity. I want to be remembered as someone who created opportunities for others, who inspired women to believe in themselves, and who proved that elegance isn’t defined by what you wear—it’s reflected in the way you live.
