Mykonos once again confirmed its place on the international cultural calendar with the opening of Ioanna Efthimiou’s latest solo exhibition at the Myconian Villa Collection. Held on 25 July, the evening welcomed guests from the worlds of art, fashion, business, shipping and diplomacy for a celebration that combined contemporary creativity with the island’s sophisticated lifestyle. Among the evening’s distinguished attendees was Kimberly Guilfoyle, US Ambassador to Greece, whose presence called attention to the international attention surrounding the event.

Presented under the title My Mykonos, the exhibition displays a new series of paintings inspired by the island that has long enchanted artists and travellers alike. Ioanna Efthimiou’s signature style, recognised because of its striking compositions, pop-art influences and meaningful symbolism, drew praise from collectors, cultural figures and invited guests. Throughout the evening, visitors explored the collection while meeting the artist and discussing the ideas behind her latest work.
