From Hailey Bieber to Chloe Bailey here are the celebrity Halloween costumes that won 2023.
No one goes all out for Halloween quite like celebrities. Forget the string of orange lights around the porch and blown-up ghosts sitting in the front yard, celebrities take ten times further hosting wild Halloween parties (we’re looking at you Heidi Klum), arranging elaborate photo shoots, and wearing high-fashion intricate costumes. Last year, Kylie Jenner went as far as to wear a custom Jean Paul Gaultier gown as she dressed up as the Bride of Frankenstein.
This year, the celebrities’ commitment to Halloween returns in full force, with wilder parties and more elaborate costumes. Hailey Bieber kicked off Halloween season early with two costume reveals. The first of which is a bloodthirsty vampire, sporting a sultry lace corset, micro mini skirt, pearls, and drops of blood at her mouth, followed by channeling Rachel Green from Friends — donning a black turtleneck, plaid mini skirt, white socks, and loafers.
One thing you may not spot this Halloween season? Barbies’, Kens’, and Oppenheimers’, as SAG-AFTRA has released a statement encouraging members to engage in a “strike-friendly” Halloween. This means dressing like “generalized characters and figures” this year, such as a ghost, zombie, or a spider, or opting for characters from non-SAG content. Of course, it is assumed most celebrities have already planned their outfit well before the statement was issued, meaning it would come as no surprise if actors and A-listers went ahead with their Princess Ariel and Paul Atreides costumes.
Until then, here are the best celebrity Halloween costumes of 2023 so far.
