Let’s be honest, every year every girl waits for some miracles on Valentine’s Day; they expect it to be one of the most romantic days of the year. But what if you don’t have a significant other? What should you do?
So, what exactly is Galentine’s Day?
The thing like “Galentine’s Day” appeared after the episode of the TV series “Parks and Recreation” in 2010. The main character, Leslie, described it as, “It’s only the best day of the year? Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we must come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies.”
However, looking to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, Galantine’s Day is a “day for women to celebrate their friendship with their lady friends.” Basically, it’s Valentine’s Day for gals.
