From Anne Hathaway to Serena Williams, here are the best-dressed celebrities from the 2023 CFDA Awards red carpet.
While the Met Gala is the fashion Super Bowl among the public, within the realm of fashion insiders, fashion’s biggest night is none other than The Council of Fashion Designers of America’s (CFDA) annual awards. Located at the Museum of Natural History on the Upper West Side, the awards celebrated the best of American fashion.
Hosted by Anne Hathaway (who replaces Sarah Jessica Parker after the actress dropped out due to “unforeseen circumstances”), tension was high with the incredible list of nominees. At the end of the night, big-name wins included Willy Chavarria for the American Menswear Designer of the Year Award, Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen of The Row as the American Accessory Designer of the Year, Serena Williams named Fashion Icon, and Rachel Scott of Diotima for the Shop with Google American Emerging Designer of the Year Award.
