With continual over-consumption, a record 84 percent of all clothing ending up in landfills and 10 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions, vintage, and secondhand clothing will do the planet wonders. Over the last years, vintage, secondhand, and upcycled clothing have become an irrefutable fashion trend.
Hanna Baranava’s editorial story is about actual outfits from a “grandmother’s closet” which has less impact on nature. Baranava created paper collages and used digital composition to achieve the final result.
