At the crossroads of law, entrepreneurship, and film, Stacy Kemp stands as a formidable force — one defined by vision, discipline, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Whether she is leading a high-stakes legal strategy, producing a film, or stepping in front of the camera for a new creative challenge, Kemp brings a distinctive presence to every endeavor she touches.

But woven into her expansive career is another story — the rise of her daughters, Alexis and Kaitlyn Kemp, whose growing success in fashion and film reflects the values, artistry, and resilience imparted by her mother.
We sat down with Stacy to discuss her multifaceted career, her creative evolution, and what it means to watch her daughters forge their own paths while carrying forward the legacy of a woman redefining power in every space she enters.
L’Officiel: Stacy, you’ve evolved from attorney to entrepreneur to film producer — and even actress. How do you see your own journey unfolding today?
Today, I see my journey as a living brief—one that I continue to amend with purpose, courage, and creativity. I began as an attorney, trained to interrogate facts, build cases, and advocate relentlessly. Producing films and stepping into roles as an actress gave me a new medium for truth-telling. I am not leaving one identity for another; I am integrating them— advocacy in action, enterprise in motion, storytelling with consequence.
Growth, for me, is not a ladder but a compass. Innovation is my rule of evidence: what I build must be tested, iterated, and brave. In business, that means structuring ventures that are both principled and scalable. In film, it means championing narratives that move culture forward.
I refuse to be defined by a single headline or a single chapter. Law taught me precision; entrepreneurship rewards resilience; producing demands vision; acting requires presence. Together, they form a practice—a portfolio of expression—where I can argue a case, greenlight a story, and inhabit a character, all in service of impact.
L’Officiel: Your recent creative projects in LA have gained momentum. How do you bring your own artistry into that work?
Working in LA has been a transformative experience, a city where creativity and ambition are the lifeblood. I channel that same energy into every project I undertake. When I approach a role or production, I immerse myself fully, drawing from my own emotional experiences and professional discipline. This allows me to create performances and projects that are not only intentional but also deeply resonant and meaningful.
In LA, I’ve learned to embrace the unexpected and to trust the creative process. This openness allows me to bring a unique perspective to my work, ensuring that every project is a true reflection of my artistic vision. My goal is to create work that not only entertains but also provokes thought and inspires change.

L’Officiel: You navigate both film through your production work and your onscreen presence. How do you prepare differently for each?
In film, my preparation is deeply introspective. I immerse myself in the character by journaling from their perspective, exploring their motivations, and sometimes stepping into costume even before rehearsals. This process allows me to fully inhabit their world and bring authenticity to the screen.
On the production side, I draw on the skills I honed while running a multi-million dollar law firm. Producing requires strategic thinking, meticulous planning, and effective leadership. I focus on assembling the right team, managing resources, and ensuring that the creative vision is realized. This dual approach allows me to balance creativity with practicality, ensuring that both my on-screen presence and production work are executed with precision and passion.
L’Officiel: How do you bring your personal identity into your work and public image?
I bring my personal identity into my work and public image by being intentional in every choice I make. I don’t pursue projects just because they’re trendy; they must align with my core values of strength, integrity, and creativity. This ensures that everything I do is a true reflection of who I am.
While my style may evolve, I remain grounded in my principles and what I want my work to represent. I strive to create a public image that is authentic and resonates with my personal journey, allowing me to connect genuinely with my audience.
L’Officiel: You’ve built a career in industries that constantly evolve. How do you stay innovative?
Curiosity is my driving force. That childlike excitement keeps me fresh and open to new possibilities. Whether I’m producing, acting, or exploring new creative concepts, I never allow myself to get comfortable. Innovation requires embracing risk—the willingness to try, experiment, and learn from every experience. This mindset fuels my growth and keeps my work dynamic and forward-thinking.
L’Officiel: Your daughters, Alexis and Kaitlyn, are rising quickly in the fashion and film worlds. How has watching their journey shaped your own perspective on ambition, identity, and legacy?
Watching Alexis and Kaitlyn blossom in the fashion and film worlds has been extraordinary. Their drive, artistry, and discipline are truly inspiring. While I’ve built Kemp Law Group into a nationally recognized firm and expanded into film, seeing them take those values and forge their own paths is deeply fulfilling.
They remind me that ambition isn’t just about personal achievements—it’s about the impact you leave behind. Their ability to lead with their hearts makes me incredibly proud. It reinforces the idea that true legacy is built through the values you instill and the positive change you inspire in others.

L’Officiel: You’re producing films and even started acted have numerous projects coming up. What was that experience like?
Producing films and stepping into acting has been an exhilarating journey. Each project offers a unique opportunity to explore new narratives and push creative boundaries. The experience has been both challenging and rewarding, allowing me to grow as a storyteller and collaborator. It’s a dynamic process that requires adaptability and vision, and I’m excited to bring these upcoming projects to life.
L’Officiel: What role do art and culture play in your vision as a creative?
Art and culture are the foundation of everything I do. They provide perspective, richness, and nuance to my work. I constantly draw inspiration from global cinema, architecture, music, and street style. These elements inform how I create, perform, and produce, allowing me to craft stories that resonate on a deeper level. They shape my vision and fuel my creativity, ensuring that each project is both authentic and impactful.
L’Officiel: Looking ahead, where do you see your career in the next five years?
In the next five years, I aim to expand internationally, producing meaningful films and collaborating with artists who challenge and inspire me. My focus isn’t on fame but on building a legacy—creating work that sparks conversation, moves people, and has a lasting impact.
Part of that legacy is supporting Alexis and Kaitlyn as they forge their own paths, shaped by the values I’ve cultivated. I’m committed to deepening my influence across law, film, and fashion, while empowering my daughters to shine as rising stars in their fields.
