In the Spotlight: Nabila de Raco’s Fashion Voyage

An exquisite beauty from Rome, Nabila de Raco ventured to conquer the Big Apple in pursuit of thrilling opportunities within the fashion realm. She’s secured contracts with renowned global brands, graced numerous magazine covers, and is truly in her element, capturing various styles encompassing swimwear, lingerie, evening gowns, and fitness.

Nabila de Raco’s remarkable journey has not gone unnoticed, as she recently engaged in a captivating interview with L’Officiel Monaco, sharing her inspiring experiences and insights.

Nabila, you were born and raised in Rome. When and why did you start modeling?

For as long as I can remember, I have been in front of the camera as my mom was a photography enthusiast always documenting our family in film. When I turned 14, I signed with a modeling agency and since then never looked back. From the beginning, I felt it was both about how the camera perceived you as well as the looks. Over the years I focused on what I could most control – my appearance. I am in a place now where I have defined what type of modeling I enjoy most, and through hard work, I have honed my skills as I aim to master my genre. It can be a difficult job at times but I thrive on competition and I’m thankful for meeting some amazingly talented people along the way.

You worked in Italy, now you live in America. How is this country more promising for modeling?

Working in America is great and I am extremely lucky to have had multiple opportunities, namely, appearing on the covers of many famous magazines. I’ve also taken part in runways, Fashion Shows and Red Carpets.

Please tell us about the most interesting projects you’ve been a part of.

My last cover came out a month ago and I was featured in Grazia Magazine, wearing an amazing Balenciaga and Chanel outfits. This past summer, I had the pleasure to be invited to the Venice Film Festival and I had the honor to walk on the Red Carpet wearing beautiful gorgeous gowns and meeting many other famous models and actors. It was a really magical experience.

What is your zodiac sign, and do the traits associated with it influence your work?

I’m a Gemini and I believe it is the best sign in the whole horoscope! I consider myself to be a very open outspoken fun person to be around, I don’t hold grudges. I forgive but I don’t forget. Also, I’ve been told that Gemini are social butterflies so for my modeling career, since it’s all about connections, I think it really helps.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Working out and traveling are key! I’m a Pilates and Yoga addict and I love outdoors, hiking and I’m always ready for the next new adventure in some part of the world.
