- Tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Dr. Carmen Harra and I’ve been a relationship expert, intuitive counselor, and bestselling author for over thirty years. During this time, I’ve counseled tens of thousands of people, from the lady next door to celebrities and politicians. I combine practical and spiritual elements to help my clients understand their purpose from a different perspective, blending elements like psychology and cognitive therapy with karma and numerology to teach others enact how positive changes in their lives.
- How do you tie fashion into your line of work?
My love for fashion comes stems my youth as a singer as I toured throughout Europe. Now, it is an integral part of my work. What you wear speaks volumes about who you are—it is an extension of your thoughts, emotions, fears, and state of being. When I counsel clients, I help them understand the influence their clothes have on their lives: how, for example, they may not be wearing colors that benefit them energetically, or jewelry that doesn’t reflect the changes they want to make.
- How can your wardrobe influence your relationships?
Because your wardrobe is a reflection of you, the clothes you choose to put on convey your emotions. Depending on how you want to shift the energy of your relationships, you will want to pay close attention to what you’re wearing. For instance, a person who wears the same black outfit every day might have a hard time attracting a new relationship because physically, their wardrobe represents regret, guilt, loss, and living in the past. As you stand in front of the mirror each morning, ask yourself, What energy do I want to give off today? What do I want to attract today? Then, dress accordingly.
- What should a person wear to attract more love, abundance, etc.?
What a person should wear to attract more of what they want depends on what colors, styles, and combinations work best for their spiritual state of being. It is necessary to understand what looks good on your soul, not just your body! In general, if you’re looking for a new relationship, pick fresh and flirty cuts and opt for pink and red hues—colors that emanate femininity. If you’d like to increase prosperity, dress like a royal and don deep shades of burgundy, green, and gold.
- How can we know what colors bring us luck?
Colors work wonderfully to shift our vibrational energy and allow us manifest a happier, healthier reality. Red is optimal for commitment, green signifies wealth, and white or pink symbolize a new beginning. If you have a particular attraction to a specific color, understand the connection you have with that color: what do you believe it represents for you, and why are you drawn to it? Try to incorporate it into your wardrobe as much as possible, even in small details such as the laces of your shoes or the polish of your nails.
- In what ways can jewelry empower us?
I’m a self-proclaimed jewelry fanatic, having even designed a line for QVC, and I believe the power of jewelry is underestimated. For thousands of years, we have been using jewelry as a tool to tap into our inner force and strengthen our connection to the Divine. I recommend to my clients who are looking to improve their finances to wear an emerald ring or green amethyst pendant. For those wanting to improve their love lives, I encourage putting a pink sapphire ring on your finger. And those who wish to be distinguished and recognized for their efforts should select a yellow diamond pendant or earrings.
