A Vision in Focus: Diana Catch on Art, Celebrity, and Her Next Chapter

Rising from the energy of red carpets and flash-lit galas, Diana Catch has built her career through dedication and persistence. In just five years, she has grown from an ambitious newcomer into one of the most recognized celebrity photographers of her generation. Her breakthrough came at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival — a turning point that opened doors to the international stage and placed her behind the camera with some of Hollywood’s biggest names. Today, Diana’s portfolio includes portraits of Matthew McConaughey, Spike Lee, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Natalie Portman, Jason Statham, Nicolas Cage, Will Smith, and many others who have shaped the world of cinema.

Beyond celebrity photography, Diana works closely with Parisian haute couture houses and top models. Her participation in major events such as the Cannes and Venice Film Festivals, Paris Fashion Weeks, the Joy Awards in Saudi Arabia, and amfAR charity galas highlights both her artistic vision and commitment to her craft. With a clear focus on creativity, discipline, and passion, Diana continues to expand her professional path — from Europe and the Middle East to her next goal: the United States. Through her PR agency, Catch PR, she also supports emerging talents, helping them gain access to the international stage she has worked so hard to reach. In this exclusive interview for L’Officiel Monaco, Diana shares her insights, creative path, inspirations, and personal reflections — revealing what drives her pursuit of beauty, authenticity, and success.

What made you choose photography as your creative path?
I chose photography very intuitively. It wasn’t something I planned — it just felt natural, almost instinctive. When I was only twelve, I earned my first money through photography, and that moment made me realize that this passion could also be my profession. Photography has always been my way to express what I feel without words — to capture emotion, light, and energy as I see them.

Cannes 2021 was a breakthrough moment for you. How did that experience change the way you saw your work and yourself?
Visiting Cannes for the first time was truly transformative. Standing there, I suddenly felt that my possibilities were endless — as if the world I’d only seen in Hollywood films had come to life right in front of me. That experience showed me that I could collaborate with celebrities and creatives on an entirely new level. It expanded my sense of what’s possible and gave me the confidence to dream bigger than ever before.

You’ve captured so many Hollywood legends. Who surprised you the most in person — and why?
When I photographed Ethan Hawke for the Times Monaco cover, I was genuinely surprised by how humble and down-to-earth he was. He wanted to share his experiences with me and was incredibly open and easy to connect with. Despite his legendary status, he had this calm, genuine energy that made the shoot feel effortless and inspiring. It reminded me that even the biggest stars are still artists who love collaboration and honest conversation.

Your career involves constant travel between Europe and the Middle East. What does your typical week look like?
My typical week really depends on whether there are major events happening. Most of the time, I’m either planning trips to the most exciting occasions — festivals, fashion weeks, or international gatherings — or already in the middle of those intense shoots. During those periods, there’s absolutely no time to rest; it’s all energy, creativity, and movement. But between trips, I make sure to slow down, take care of myself, and find a bit of balance before the next whirlwind begins.

You mentioned that your best shot is yet to come. What would the perfect shot represent for you — technically and emotionally?
My goal is always to create work that evokes emotion in as many people as possible. I want my photographs to make viewers feel something — to stop, to notice, to connect. At the same time, for myself, it’s always about exploring something new and challenging my own vision. That’s why I believe my best photograph hasn’t been taken yet — I’m always chasing that next moment of discovery.

Tell me about Catch PR. What inspired you to build your own agency, and what kind of talent are you most passionate about supporting?
Right now, my focus is on guiding talented individuals onto the most exclusive stages — events that are truly once-in-a-lifetime, where they can meet top celebrities, producers, industry leaders, and key influencers. I’m passionate about helping models, influencers, and actors not just attend these events, but truly shine in them. For me, it’s all about personal care and attention: every opportunity is carefully tailored to each person’s unique goals and vision. Catch PR is about creating meaningful, unforgettable experiences that open doors and inspire growth, because I believe every artist deserves the chance to be seen on the world’s most prestigious stages.

With such a fast-paced career, how do you protect your private life? Do you have time for love, family, and moments just for yourself?
That’s such a good question, because I truly love my work and most of the time I don’t even feel tired. But every now and then, I catch myself realizing that I do need a break. The best way for me to recharge is to spend time at the stables with my beloved horses — I practice equestrian sports, and being there is the ultimate form of rest for me. I also love to travel, but my trips are always intertwined with work, so I rarely separate the two completely. Still, moments like those at the stables remind me to slow down and take care of myself.

Looking ahead, what are your personal and professional goals for 2026?
In the coming years, I want to challenge myself, make my mark in the U.S., and attend the most prestigious events in Los Angeles. At the same time, I’m focused on growing Catch PR — helping talented individuals in the industry gain opportunities and achieve their dreams. It’s about pushing my own boundaries while opening doors for others.
