L’Officiel Monaco has named La Note Bleue as one of Monte Carlo’s premier culinary spots. Established by Anne and Alain Tanzi in 2001, La Note Bleue offers a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere designed to make guests feel at home. The restaurant also serves as a tribute to saxophonist Barney Wilen, with music playing a central role in its ambiance.
After 18 successful years and gaining a strong local and international reputation, La Note Bleue is undergoing a transformation in 2021, driven by the new Larvotto renovation project. The redesign is being led by renowned architects Emmanuel Pillot and Charlotte Alonzo, in collaboration with Leah Sekiou of Franck Bourgery Architecte. This revitalization presents a unique opportunity to introduce fresh concepts while continuing to build on the restaurant’s rich legacy, maintaining the passion, excellence, and dedicated team that have defined it. La Note Bleue owes much of its identity to the expertise and creativity of our chef, Laurent Paya. Since 2002, Laurent has continuously evolved, blending Mediterranean traditions with diverse global influences. His skillful combination of flavors, passion for innovation, and unique approach have established La Note Bleue as a culinary landmark in Monaco.
At La Note Bleue, our diverse menu caters to all tastes with a range of dishes perfect for sharing and savoring. Start with plates like “La Riviera,” which combines melon, prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, and burrata mozzarella with barbagiuans ‘A Roca’ and grilled vegetables, or “La Tapas,” featuring Truffle Pinsa Romana topped with burrata, arugula, cherry tomatoes, and pistou. Other options include guacamole with tortilla chips, baby sardines ‘La Brujula’ with focaccia, edamame, and crispy chicken nems. For lighter fare, explore our salads and raw fish bar. Enjoy Salmon Tartare with green apples, coriander, red onions, ginger, and mango sauce, or Sea Bream Ceviche with orange, lime, cherry tomatoes, and capucine flowers.
For heartier choices, try our Bacon Cheeseburger with cheddar, romaine lettuce, and Espelette chili dressing, or the Fried Chicken Burger with cheddar, avocado, and lemon-curry dressing. The Veggie Burger features a chickpea and red bean patty with tzatziki sauce. Classic options include the Steel Cut Beef Tartare with shallots and pickles, and our Entrecôte and Filet de Boeuf. The pasta and risotto dishes include Fresh Gnocchi with gorgonzola and Milanese-style chicken cuts, Chicken & Truffle Risotto, Scallops & Truffle Risotto, and Fresh Tonnarelli with seafood and crustacean bisque.

Starting in September, October, and November, Live Wednesday sessions are an exciting new addition to Monaco’s music scene. Every Wednesday, all year round, La Note Bleue transforms into a vibrant live music venue, showcasing the best talent from both the local area and beyond.
Unlike our international music events, these Live Wednesday sessions are designed as a weekly gathering for true music lovers. The evening kicks off with a DJ set at 6:30 PM, followed by live performances from 8 PM. Spanning a wide range of genres—from funk and soul to jazz, Latin, and Afro rhythms—these sessions offer a diverse musical experience crafted to make you dance, feel, and discover new and beautiful sounds each week.
