Fashionistas worldwide flock to Paris in their seasonal pilgrimage for the illustrious Paris Fashion Week. The scenery. The glamour. The incredible street style. THE FOOD. No trip to Paris is complete without a chic and delicious meal out, but the land of butter and cream (thanks a lot, Julia Child) leaves a smaller selection for our vegetarian-style icons. We have gathered a list of Paris’ most fashionable vegan eateries, perfect for the city of light’s most elegant herbivores.

For a Sunrise on the Seine

To kickstart your beautiful day of strolling through the Tuileries, enjoying la vie en rose, you absolutely cannot forget breakfast. It’s the most important meal of the day! While the traditional boulangeries boast crisp croissants and luscious lattes, chances are the vegan options are slim. With several vegan cafes scattered throughout the city, the cutest and most stylish is none other than Cloud Cakes, located in the 2nd arrondissement.

With a huge offering of speciality coffees and teas (all vegan, of course), and a delicious spread ranging from baked goods to avocado toast to buddha bowls, this is the perfect place to Get ready for the day and maybe even nurse your champagne hangover from the night before.

Dress Code: Classic Casual

No need to overdress for this cute cafe. Comfort is key when gathering the energy to tackle another day of Paris Fashion Week. It is the perfect time to master the subtle art of the Parisian messy chic look…that “je ne sais quoi.”

For a Luxe Luncheon

Perhaps you spent the morning wandering through the Louvre ,or maybe you did some serious shopping damage along the Champs-Élysées. Regardless of whatever magic you were able to discover throughout your morning in Paris, it’s time to sit back and enjoy lunch. For a meal that looks (and tastes) just as good as you do, it’s time to venture to the 9th arrondissement to try 42 Degrés.

This raw and vegan gastronomic experience is more than just a plate of delicious food; it’s edible art. With a fresh and rotating menu, you are sure to enjoy a meal that is as exciting as your Parisian adventure is bound to be. The scenery is sleek and relaxed, with the clientele to match. It is the perfect place to enjoy a bio version of French haute cuisine in a refined and peaceful setting.

The Dress Code: Stylishly Smart

While  42 Degrés is a step above the traditional French brasserie, the atmosphere is still relatively causal. There is no need to bust out a ball gown fit for Versailles, but an elevated casual look is welcome.

For a Dashing Dinner Date

As much as we would love to live out our Emily in Paris dreams and date a charming and sexy French chef, chances are our neighbour won’t surprise us with a romantic home-cooked meal. To avoid the traditional steak and cream heavy fine dining options for a date night in Paris, try La Table de Colette, located in the lively 5th arrondissement.

While this restaurant is not entirely vegetarian, they offer an incredible seasonal 5-course tasting menu that lacks meat but provides flavour. In addition, this restaurant is unique in that it aims to ultimately reduce waste, tracking its environmental impact with each dish. According to La Table de Colette, this menu releases 800 grams of CO2 per person, about eight times less than a traditional gourmet meal. With an elevated environment and a lowered carbon emission standard, this place is a diamond, perfect for a cosy evening in the most romantic city in the world.

Dress Code: Dressy and Refined

Suppose you brought the classiest midi dress to your closet. In that case, this is the perfect opportunity to show off your elegant style. While the dress code is not formal, it is not rare to find a chic yet conservative dress in this beautiful restaurant. Time to change out of your jeans and step it up, living your most romantic Parisian dreams.
