Electronic music is one of the most powerful creative movements of our time. Across the world, DJs and producers shape sound that travels fast, reaches far, and brings people together on a massive scale. While releases appear constantly and platforms move quickly, some artists stand out immediately: through clarity, character, and direction. How often does a track make you stop, stay with it, enjoy it fully, and suddenly realise it has become one of your favourites?

Within this global scene, there are DJs whose music plays straight through without interruption. Their sets hold attention naturally, without forcing impact or chasing reaction. The sound feels confident, continuous, and intentional, moving forward with its own logic. These artists define its pace, its mood, and its future.
L’Officiel Monaco brings you the latest from the world of DJs and electronic music. One name clearly stands out: Argy. Already a cover star of L’Officiel Monaco in Summer 2025, his work has a way of staying with you, quickly turning into a genuine fascination. From one creative project to the next, straight on to the stage and back again, his pace is relentless and fully intentional. This is a life in constant motion, and one he embraces with ease.
Now is the right moment to look closer. To talk about Argy’s world, his rhythm, his creative drive, and the release of his new album, NEWORLD II. And if curiosity has already taken over, his Spotify channel offers a direct entry point into the sound shaping this next chapter.

Argy stands as one of the defining figures of contemporary electronic music, shaping its direction with a language that feels both precise and widely resonant. His work reaches beyond sound alone: a carefully constructed visual world surrounds it, widely circulated and continuously reinterpreted across digital platforms.
Raised on the Greek island of Rhodes, Argy’s early fascination with music led him to London, where he studied Music Technology after years spent producing during his school life. His first major release, Love Dose on Poker Flat in 2005, quickly gained global underground traction, contributing to the rise of minimal techno and introducing him to an international audience at a remarkably young age. The years that followed were marked by constant evolution: stylistic shifts between 90s house, tech house, and electronica accompanied extensive touring and a period of personal and artistic recalibration. Alongside his own releases, Argy built a parallel career in sound design, composing for internationally recognised brands such as Carolina Herrera, Ferrari, BMW, Pomellato, and BVLGARI, while also participating in songwriting sessions with figures including Virgil Abloh.
The period following the pandemic marked a decisive turning point. With the release of Ketuvim, Argy entered a new phase that reshaped both his trajectory and the wider electronic landscape. The track became a defining moment, opening the door to his collaboration with Afterlife, where co-owner Matteo Milleri invited him to fully develop and refine his distinct sonic direction. From that moment onward, Argy’s work has moved with clarity and intent, signalling a mature chapter in which vision and execution operate with rare cohesion.

The release of Tataki marked a decisive shift. Spreading rapidly across platforms, the track exceeded expectations for the label and introduced a newly defined sonic language, anchored by hypnotic, chant-like vocals and a visual universe built around disorienting, multi-directional gazes. It was the first clear signal of a new chapter. In March 2024, that direction fully materialised with New World, an album that set the tone for an entire era. Immersive and emotionally charged, the project unfolded through a cinematic aesthetic shaped by references to The Matrix, positioning Argy as a solitary figure navigating invisible realms. The record invited listeners inward, toward subconscious territories rarely addressed in electronic music.
Two years on, NEWORLD II extends this vision rather than repeating it. The second chapter deepens the concept, transforming sound into a space to be entered. Ancient symbolism and advanced technology coexist throughout the record, with each track functioning less as a composition and more as a transmission, designed to provoke a visceral, internal response. The original New World laid the groundwork, reaching hundreds of millions of streams worldwide and confirming that Argy operates beyond genre boundaries, within a self-contained creative universe. Across both releases, the project has produced two Gold-certified records, Aria and Sierra, the latter standing as a defining moment of this evolved phase.

Arriving after a landmark year in 2025, NEWORLD II finds Argy at the height of his global reach. Collaborations such as Melodia with Meduza and Voices in My Head with Anyma have reinforced his position as one of the most widely streamed figures in contemporary electronic music, extending his influence well beyond the club circuit.
Today, NEWORLD exists as more than a body of work. It has expanded into a large-scale global tour conceived as a shared parallel world. Each performance is structured as a fully realised audiovisual environment, where music, imagery, and collective energy merge into a single experience. Carefully composed and meticulously executed, the live shows transform sound into a living extension of the artist’s inner framework. While European electronic artists rarely achieve sustained prominence across the United States, Argy has become a regular presence at major American festivals, including EDC and Dreamstate, alongside a series of sold-out headline shows across multiple states. Recordings of his performances at Tomorrowland in Belgium and Brazil, as well as his widely referenced Cercle set, offer clear insight into the singularity of his approach.

Perhaps most striking is his impact across Asia, where his following has reached a scale uncommon for Western electronic artists. His name, visual identity, and musical language circulate continuously across social platforms and fan communities, often within spaces traditionally dominated by regional acts. This resonance has translated into significant live audiences across China, India, Japan, the Middle East, and Turkey. His most recent appearance at Marina Ataköy, attended by tens of thousands, stands as a testament to that reach.
Argy’s trajectory is defined by precision, restraint, and deliberate growth. With vision and consistency at its core, his body of work reflects an artist fully in control of his evolution. This moment marks the arrival of NEWORLD in its most complete form.
