Around three years after Azzedine Alaïa’s loss, the Fashion House welcomes a Belgian designer to represent and take over the legendary eponym brand.
Pieter Mulier, a close friend of Raf Simons, worked as a Design Director at Dior, at Calvin Klein as a Global Creative Director, and Jil Sander as a Director of Accessories. He is now about to present his first Maison Alaïa spring-summer collection in 2022, as the Creative Director.
Here are the three things you need to know about him!

After working for Calvin Klein, Celine, Maison Margiela, Matthieu Blazy appears to have joined Bottega Veneta as a senior designer, assisting Daniel Lee, the Creative Director.
Will he join Mulier at Alaïa’s? Time will tell.
