Did you know that the creation of the miniskirt is attributed to the legendary English designer Mary Quant? In the ’60s and ’70s, it was almost a mandatory trend. After her, several designers became famous for presenting pieces with mini hemlines, such as Courrèges with its futuristic fashion.

Now, we are living with the desire for a post-vaccine world and a return to normal life. As we emerge, our fashion is getting bolder, and our hemlines seem to be getting shorter. Across the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter 2021 shows, we saw names like Saint Laurent, Versace, Michael Kors, and even the traditional Chanel opt for short pieces, from jackets to dresses to skirts.
