The arts of Puglia came back as a recurrent theme this season. Dior chooses to celebrate the excellence of savoir-faire and embody escapism. On the Lunar Year occasion, Dior releases their latest Hibiscus capsule collection, featuring the China Rose and the Ears of Wheat flower, a traditional flower in Chinese culture. The entire collection transports us into a summery, magical world of freshness and elegance. The Hibiscus collection presents a yellow-with-hints-of-blue general motif with leatherwork that encompasses accessories, bags, and shoes. Therefore, it takes us into a lighter print and subtle, soft, and sophisticated tones. Maria Grazia Chiuri’s creations in this collection are the celebration of nature and the landscapes of southern Italy, brought to life by artist Pietro Ruffo’s work of ostentatious and vivacious motifs. As the Year of the Ox begins, Fendi themes their newest collection on homage to Chinese cultures and traditions, with an assortment of jewellery, accessories, and the baguette bag featuring the house’s signature FF monogram in light, blush, dream-like tones. The limited capsule collection designs and themes incorporate traditional Chinese flower motifs, whether it be as prints or styles themselves. The collection immerses us into a world of pink, soft flower fields.
