Photographer Greg Alexander brings us inside a very exclusive historical place in Paris: Le Pavillon d’Armenonville for this Haute Couture editorial. This historic place was built by Fleuriau, the Count of Armenonville, who not only was Louis XIV’s minister, but was also responsible for the royal hunt. In the 17th century, the King wanted to extend his hunts on Rambouillet. He proposes a land swap with the last Lord of Armenonville. Ideally located at the gates of Paris, Le Pavillon d’Armenonville has had the honor over the centuries to receive great personalities such as Alexandre Dumas and Marcel Proust.
