Your journey into design started at the young age of 14. Can you tell us more about how experimenting with self-portraits and layouts sparked your creative passion?

I grew up during the rise of social media platforms, a time when self-expression and digital presentation were becoming central to how we connected with the world. Experimenting with self-portraits allowed me to explore the interplay of light, color, and mood, and I quickly realized how powerful visuals could be in telling a story. When I began sharing my work online, I was amazed by the response—friends and even acquaintances started asking me to take their photos or help design layouts for them. This feedback was both humbling and motivating. It showed me that I could turn my creativity into something meaningful for others. From there, I started designing profiles, flyers, and business cards, which helped me develop an eye for detail and storytelling. I later refined my skills through formal education and hands-on experience during my studies, and over time, these small projects became stepping stones toward a professional career in design and visual communication.

What do you envision as the most significant advancements in artificial intelligence over the next five years?

I see artificial intelligence becoming deeply integrated into our daily lives in ways we’re just starting to imagine. Tools will become more intuitive, enabling even non-specialists to collaborate with AI seamlessly. Creative industries, in particular, will benefit from AI systems that adapt to individual styles, making the design process more personal and efficient. Most importantly, I believe AI will push us to rethink creativity itself. As these tools become more powerful, they’ll challenge professionals to go beyond the ordinary, sparking new ideas and raising the bar for what’s possible in design and beyond.

As a freelancer, you’ve worked with a diverse range of clients. What have been some of your most memorable collaborations?

What stands out most to me is the creative process and the relationships I’ve built along the way. Every collaboration brings opportunities to experiment, which I find incredibly rewarding.

One highlight was working on a photo series for the fashion blog accompanying the exhibition Mythos Chanel (The Myth of Chanel) at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg. We staged vintage Chanel fashion in different eras, using the museum’s various exhibitions and rooms as backdrops. Projects like this, where art and storytelling intersect, remind me why I love what I do—turning ideas into something truly impactful and resonant.

In today’s competitive digital landscape, trends and consumer behaviours are constantly shifting. How do you stay ahead and ensure your work remains impactful?

I always pay attention to trends, but I believe in focusing on timeless design principles. Staying ahead means finding the right balance—creating visuals that feel relevant now but won’t seem outdated in a few months. I also experiment a lot, whether it’s with new tools, AI platforms, or different visual styles.

Engaging with my online audience gives me valuable real-time feedback, helping me understand what resonates. Plus, following influential artists and exchanging ideas with peers inspires me and helps me recognize new trends early on.

Photography is a significant part of your creative repertoire. How does your experience as a photographer influence your design work?

Photography taught me to see balance and detail in ways that deeply shape how I approach composition and visual storytelling. Whether I’m designing layouts or creating AI-generated imagery, I think of it as capturing a moment—focusing on mood and emotional impact. It also enables me to bridge the gap between digital and physical media, ensuring visuals remain grounded and relatable while leaving room for imagination.

Looking to the future, what are some personal or professional goals you hope to achieve in the next phase of your career?

Professionally, I’m excited to explore how AI can elevate branding and fashion visuals, and I hope to collaborate with larger brands on international projects. Personally, I want to refine my storytelling by blending modern luxury trends with elements of fantasy, creating work that feels both innovative and timeless. Staying connected to my community and balancing artistic exploration with strategy will remain at the heart of everything I do.
