The night’s worst enemy: insomnia.
Here are 3 Tips to Fight Against Insomnia.
Your nights turn into real nightmares. Have you been turning left and right in your bed? Are you waking up having swollen eyes, hanging eyelids or even more wrinkles? Research has found that sleep could affect your skin. So, having a good sleep is crucial. Why not going for natural formulas to embrace a healthy sleep?
Essential Oils

Some essential oils are known for their soothing properties. Lavender, chamomile or even jasmine are particularly sedative and soothe anxiety. You can mix two drops of any of these essential oils with a spoon of vegetable oil and massage the solar plexus (pit of your stomach) 3-4 hours before going to bed. Marjoram essential oil is also recommended. Mix it with a vegetable oil and also massage the solar plexus, the soles of the feet and the wrists a few hours before going to bed.

Certain plants are associated with relaxation and help improve the quality of sleep. For instance, Valerian, lemon balm, hops, marjoram, chamomile, jasmine or passionflower are particularly recommended. In infusion or brewed, they will definitely calm your restless mind. If you’re having trouble sleeping due to digestive issues, try artichoke, dandelion, or black Spanish radish.
Warm Feet

To enter the sleep phase, the body increases its temperature by about one degree. Having icy feet obviously makes it harder. In this case, you will need to warm your feet, using a hot water bottle. You can also take a foot bath right before going to bed. It soothes, relaxes and helps you find sleep.
While these simple remedies might be efficient, if you are following a treatment prescribed by a doctor, natural remedies should not replace it.
