Your work uniquely combines fashion, beauty, and artificial intelligence — how did you come to see AI as a tool for artistic expression, and how does it influence your creative process?
While working in marketing and design, I was always looking for a tool that could quickly and precisely bring creative ideas to life in a diverse way. In December 2022, I discovered AI and realized that this is the field where I can express myself as an artist. I love the possibility of not setting boundaries for ideas, and AI helps create incredibly bold designs and use unique materials that would be difficult to produce in the real world.
Moreover, AI has opened up opportunities for many creators from all over the world, regardless of their professional background in design or art, to step into the spotlight, showcase their creative ideas, and be heard. It’s an entirely new era where talent and vision are more important than traditional resources or industry connections.
Working with prestigious brands like Versace and L’Oréal, what has been the most rewarding aspect of collaborating with such industry leaders, and how do you maintain your unique artistic voice while aligning with their vision?
The most important aspects for me were working with a team of professionals whose efficiency is impressive, and the opportunity to dive deeper into the brand’s DNA, allowing my creative thinking to merge with this foundation. I’ve realized that it is possible to preserve my own artistic style while joining the brand’s DNA through reinterpretation and rethinking. This creative process enables me to stay authentic, yet aligned with the brand’s vision and heritage.
The collaboration with Versace became one of the first campaigns in the world featuring AI, and it was important for me that the brand showed genuine interest in this innovation, seeing it as a new opportunity to present their collection in an exciting and forward-thinking way.
I am also very grateful to L’Oréal for their support of creators working with new technologies. It was a great honor for me to share my knowledge, skills, and thoughts about the future of AI as part of my collaboration with the brand.Juli
With your involvement in global events such as AI Fashion Week and the Gen AI Visionaries Summit, how do you see the role of AI evolving in the fashion industry, and what trends do you think will define the future of digital art?
For me, AI is an important tool in the future of the fashion industry, helping to optimize processes, save on production, and create bolder and more inclusive collections. One of the key trends I see is a move away from consumerism, where designers can focus on creating clothing concepts and visionary collections without the need for physical production. AI allows us to explore and present ideas in a purely digital space, emphasizing creativity over consumption.
What emerging trends in AI development should professionals track to stay ahead in this field?
New platforms and applications appear every day. This year and the end of last year, we’ve been experiencing an absolute evolution in AI video, and every day we can create images of better quality. It’s important to constantly test new opportunities and always stay up to date. I believe it’s also crucial to explore ways of combining two worlds — working simultaneously with real and digital objects. This hybrid approach opens up exciting possibilities for fashion, design, and storytelling, blurring the lines between physical and virtual experiences. Don’t be afraid to experiment and mix methods in your work because every change opens up more possibilities for creating designs and products.
How important are interdisciplinary skills, such as an understanding of ethics, psychology, or business, for building a successful career in AI?
I think interdisciplinary knowledge is important because this is a new and unstable market, and society doesn’t always easily accept changes related to technology. I believe we should avoid clichés and try to create something unique, rather than just re-create content that was once made with other tools.
