Paris consistently serves as an endless well of inspiration for artists. Ziad Nakad, following his grand comeback to the French capital, has chosen to reinterpret Parisian architecture, drawing specifically from the unique monument, the Pantheon.
The collection comprises magnificent dresses and sophisticated, contemporary suits featuring an array of colors, spanning from stylish white to pastel orange. Black serves as a contrasting element, accentuating the finesse of these tones.
The garments showcase architectural features, characterized by well-defined waistlines and snug shoulders complemented by voluminous or exceptionally long sleeves. The architectural essence is further enhanced by intricate embroidery, meticulously crafted in the designer’s workshops in Beirut.
Geometric patterns, harmonized with mosaic-like embroidery, resonate with the unique architecture of the Pantheon. Meanwhile, the silhouettes adopt a rounded and voluminous aesthetic, achieved through the incorporation of tulle and silk.
Marking his comeback to the runway, Ziad Nakad presents a collection that seamlessly blends grandeur with intimacy, effectively showcasing his deep connection to his two cherished cities of Paris and Beirut.
