After showcasing collections at esteemed venues like the Laboratori Ansaldo of Teatro alla Scala and the Pavilion of Contemporary Art, Tod’s now chooses one of Milan’s iconic locations as the setting for its FW24/25 collection fashion show: the depot of the historic Darsena trams, symbolizing the vibrant energy and movement of the city.
Tod’s has long embodied the essence of Italian style: an effortless, timeless elegance, a casual yet refined demeanor, unparalleled quality, and a dedication to intricate and refined craftsmanship. This collection reimagines the traditions of saddle-making, presenting a modernized luxury that reflects a fresh perspective on artisanal expertise.
Guided by Matteo Tamburini’s creative vision, the collection embodies a juxtaposition of urban lifestyle and leisure, formality and informality, tradition and innovation. It is defined by elemental yet refined garments: such as the leather Trench, the masculine Coat crafted from fabric or double-faced wool, the generously sized Field Jacket, and the enveloping Cloak adorned with leather accents. Tailored wool twill suits showcase cigarette trousers with substantial cuffs and collarless or single-breasted jackets inspired by men’s fashion. Cashmere or wool and silk knitwear add layers with cardigans stacked upon one another, revitalizing the concept of the twin set.
Tod’s footwear introduces a fresh element: a delicate metal band that offers a contemporary twist on iconic styles such as the Gommino and the loafer.
