A bohemian wedding under the Grand Palais dome: CHANEL Spring-Summer 2021 Haute Couture

The film of the Chanel Spring-Summer 2021 Haute Couture show was published on January 26th at 2 pm Paris time.

The creative director for Chanel Virginie Viard wanted to convey the spirit of lightness, carelessness and an out of town family weekend with her new collection. Everyone is set to have fun and enjoy life.

“I love big family reunions, when the generations all come together. It’s so warm. There’s this spirit at Chanel today. Because Chanel is also like a family.” — Virginie Viard

The venue for the show was the Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées, which is located on the right bank of the Seine in Paris. Karl Lagerfeld was the first one to hold a fashion show here in 2005. Since then, the fashion house shows up under its arches regularly. However, since the end of 2020, the Grand Palais has been closed for repairs for 3-4 years.
