Everyone can organize an event, but not everyone is able to make it professional and stylish. Event company TRUST EVENTS is known as an elegant and stylish high-end party planner. The founder of the company Jana Jurcenko told L’Officiel Monaco, how to create own style, how to follow fashion trends and to be passionate in every event.
How did you get into the event industry?
The first event was exactly eight years ago when I was 25. Usually, people start with small events, but I immediately got a big one at Villa Rothschild. However, my perfectionism and sense of style helped us that day. After some time, people began to see what we were doing and asked for my help. Since then, it has been eight years and about five hundred events.
How do you find the right approach for your client?
Every event is a reflection of two people: the customer and the organizer. It is very important to choose the right organizer and the right team. I always bring the vision and the style to the concept. Every client is unique to me. Everything should be custom-made, from decoration to a playlist. If I have a client with a very elegant style, the event will look expensive but not extravagant. The harmonious combination of colours, the right music, and special attention will be paid to etiquette. The decorations will be bright and shiny if I see an eccentric person, and we will have a show and party until morning. Our clients say that a unique combination of elegance and extravagance can recognize our events.
Are you focused on one particular region, or are there requests from other countries?
Often clients ask to do an event abroad, even though my professional experience is more focused on the Monaco and Côte d’Azur area. We have usually done events in Italy and Dubai, and once even travelled to Kuwait for a wedding. The bride has an extremely refined taste, and she was searching for the right team worldwide. I was extremely pleased to be their guest in Kuwait and get to know the traditions of local weddings.

What qualities should a professional event organizer have?
The creativity and the ability to quickly find a solution. Often clients change their minds. One day we prepared a very relaxed evening; the decor was ready and installed. Suddenly at night, the client, inspired by a movie he saw, wanted a completely new style. We stayed up all night making a new design, completely changing the concept, music, and entertainment, and even ordering new uniforms for the artists and staff. No one believed we would make it in time, but everything went off in the best possible way.
Can you think back to your most unusual requests?
We’re selling aesthetics and emotion. Over the years, people have realized that this is what makes up an important part of our lives – emotions and positive vibes. That’s why we have to surprise all the time. Of course, beautiful sets and famous artists already evoke a storm of emotions, but we often have to be imaginative. Our client was proposing to a girl and asked her to go for a ride on horses. The plan was to act like they had gotten lost in the mountains. However, they heard live music and went to the sound as it was nearing sunset. They ended up with a stunning view of Monaco, where live music was playing, a fancy picnic was set up, and a Michelin star chef was cooking for them. We cried with happiness together with the bride. When organizing the wedding, we asked what kind of event the bride dreamed of she confessed that she always wanted a fairy tale forest wedding. It was one of our favourite and most fabulous events. Everything was held in the beautiful garden near an ancient castle. Guests had an immersive performance, a magic show, and even a unicorn! Everything was like in the bride’s dreams when she was a little girl.
What events other than weddings and birthdays do you organize?
Often people ask to bring emotions to their daily routine. Once, we organized a saxophonist in a private plane, rented a Formula 1 track, and the customer could drive racing cars with the champions f the Grand Prix. In addition, our team organized a night hunt for white truffles with dogs and master classes from legendary chefs, a photo-shooting with world-famous celebrities, and a surprise birthday party. And we are delighted to see our customers happy not only on the festive days but also to bring new emotions to their daily life.
