Austin Zelan – an American entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist is on a mission to create 1000 millionaires through his unique passive income strategies, providing strategic coaching and mentorship for students worldwide. After receiving a Master’s degree in Business from Northwest University, Austin is right back on track to educating others. He mainly focuses on investments that create cash flow for his clients and allow them to live the life they deserve. We were keen to interview Austin – an inspiring personality and financial genius to know more about his career and strategic visions.
Tell us more about the beginning of your career. How did the idea for your business come about?
Austin: It all started when I realized that I wanted to achieve more with my life. I knew I was not meant to sit behind a desk from 9-5 each day. I knew that if I didn’t make a drastic change, I would regret it for the rest of my life. This gave me the idea of investing – specifically into investments that provide cash flow passively. This allows me to spend my time doing the things that I love without worrying about where my next paycheck will come from. I believe that as humans, we are designed to be creative and the only way we can truly be creative is if we have time freedom, financial freedom, and geographical freedom.

What do you think about the development of digital currencies and the future of the monetary system?
Austin: I think that digital currencies will be a huge part of our lives as they become more and more advanced. We are finding new applications for them even in investments. The development of digital currencies has given more people access to banking and finance and has even created some first-time investors.
What is your primary success advice for young and aspiring entrepreneurs?
Austin: My advice is to find one high-value skill that they enjoy doing and become a professional at that one skill. Then, they must find a way to get paid for their new skillset. This will allow them to raise money for themselves and begin investing that money into things that will provide passive cash flow.
What was the idea behind founding Westgate Fund and Cashflowpreneur?
Austin: These companies were initially founded as research and education firms. We began to research and identify the best investment strategies in the world, which caused us to invent proprietary strategies that have allowed us to outperform the market since our first year in business. I now teach these methods to my community of investors around the world. I teach people the easiest ways to create millions in passive income.
Success is such a subjective concept that everyone likely views differently. How do you define success?
Austin: I define success as fulfilment in life. When I began investing, I did not find true fulfilment in my career until I started to help others achieve success in investing.

You fantastically performed at the Key Arena in Seattle in front of more than 15,000 people. What kind of advice you can give to overcome the fear of public speaking?
Austin: Public speaking has always been something that I enjoy because of the pressure that comes with it. One thing that has helped me is to stay away from trying to memorize a certain script. I do best when I am confident in the material and can simply talk from experience instead of trying to remember what I memorized.
What is your biggest career goal for the next 5 years?
Austin: My biggest career goal is to help 1000 people become millionaires through my programs. I believe that if I continue to work hard and help more people, I will achieve this goal in less than 5 years.
You are a true multi-talent. What motivates you?
Austin: My biggest motivation is helping people achieve time freedom, financial freedom, and geographical freedom. For me, that is a huge motivation. I have big dreams for my company and every day I wake up excited about these dreams. I know that I can achieve those dreams if I stay focused and don’t let distractions get in my way.
