Waiting for the sun was built from the friendship between Antoine and Julien. In 2009, they were the first to offer wooden sunglasses at an affordable price. In their search for new materials they designed and developed patented bois which is a new generation of organic plastic, 100% biodegradable and renewable. It does not contain any endocrine disruptors or other carcinogens.
Studio JUX
Created in 2008, Studio JUX, which means ‘fun’ or ‘having a laugh’ in German, is a sustainable and ethical brand. You can buy jeans from recycled yarn, dresses from ‘vegan silk’ and ceramics, just to name a few.
Sunski
Style, fit, performance, value and sustainability are at the heart of this brand. Instead of going to a landfill, their SuperLight recycled resin is repurposed to make these sunglasses.
Luna & Rose
This brand sells beautiful jewellery made from 99% recycled silver, and they also have sustainable sunglasses. They donate 1% of their annual sale to two charities.
