Reinventing an icon for the modern world, Fendi’s Mamma Baguette makes its grand comeback after 25 years.

Created in the late 1990s as a tribute to the house’s founder and matriarch, Adele Casagrande Fendi, this bag is the “mother” of the iconic Baguette. What began as a simple accessory has become a symbol of luxury for an entire generation.

Today, the Mamma Baguette is reinvented with an XL version, designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi in 1997. It features all the iconic elements of the original model: its rectangular shape, the flap closure, the shoulder strap and the buckle with the FF logo.

For Spring/Summer 2025, Fendi brings a touch of modernity with three new sizes—Large, Medium, and Small—and a palette of soft, romantic colors. Shades of pearl gray, pale pink, sage green, and matcha are featured, alongside classic black and white. And to capture the spirit of the season, the Mamma Baguette is adorned with a delicate floral design of pearls and crystals. A perfect blend of timeless elegance and modernity.

Celebrating its 100th anniversary, Fendi pays homage to its heritage by revisiting iconic silhouettes, such as the Mamma Baguette, which embodies the house’s evolution while honoring its history and roots.
