During his fashion career, he worked with very influential people from New York to India, Hong Kong, London, Germany, Paris, and Qatar. From editorial assistant at Vogue to events coordinator for Fran Cutler, Editor-in-Chief for Fashion One Television and private client’s manager for global luxury retailers and e-retailers. L’O: When and how did you become a fashion insider? What is your profession?

TBD: I guess I have managed to reach where I am now thanks to the very broad and international experience I have gained in the past 15 years. Passionate and driven, I started interning very early on and took every opportunity that came to me as a learning experience to grow. Another very important factor has certainly been the mentors, incredible talents, generous colleagues and loyal clients I have met and worked with over the years.

It was with this wealth of experience and a desire to develop an ethical business that I launched my own business, ICONS, less than a year ago. My activity is mainly organized around 3 poles. I offer an ultra-personalized service to private individuals looking for a highly efficient and honest private shopper with direct access to the best brands and designers. Based in Paris, I coordinate pre-orders, Haute Couture orders and any other type of shopping at the best rates. I help clients to build and maintain a relationship with their favorite brands so they can receive best access to events and fashion weeks. I consult for many international brands and designers who want to organize dedicated Private Clients experiences such as VIP dinners, trunk shows and more. I am also a producer for fashion video content and fashion stylist for international publications.

L’O: What are the specifics of working with private clients? What brands do you work with?

TBD: I attach a great deal of creating real bonds based on mutual respect. I’m extremely selective with the clients I work for as I dedicate a huge amount of time and attention to each one of them to ensure that I make a real impact both in the industry and for the clients I work for.

I endeavor to adapt my services and my offer according to each person’s needs and personality. But what matters most to me is being able to contribute to the personal fulfilment of my customers through their purchases. I created a real community made of top clients, creatives, and charismatic individuals whom I invite at each event and activations I am hosting.

I’m extremely lucky to have developed privileged relationships with practically all the major luxury houses such as Schiaparelli, Ferragamo, Roberto Cavalli, Etro or Alaїa. I also like to support more niche designers and help them grow, such as David Koma, Magda Butrym and The Attico.

I specialize in special orders and Haute Couture. These days, I think it’s more interesting to update your wardrobe with versatile yet flattering high quality RTW looks than invest in an exceptional, one-off Couture piece at Jean Paul Gaultier, Stephane Rolland or Elie Saab. To purchase couture is to me a way of contributing to more sustainable fashion. And I gladly facilitate access and introduce the right client to this very confidential and secretive world.

L’O: Do you help shape the client’s image and put together a wardrobe?

TBD: I’m known for developing 360-degree services tailored to customers’ needs, and this is indeed one of them. Our style and habits of consumption evolve throughout our lives. So, I try to support my customers at each new stage by introducing them to suitable brands and products.

It’s also important to have a good understanding of what you own before you buy new pieces. When requested, I offer at home wardrobe detox and styling services which will then help clients to keep track of their wardrobe and understand what is really missing to update it.

L’O: Tell us about the event you are planning in Monaco. What is its essence and what awaits guests?

TBD: The Agenxy Superyacht Experience is an incredible luxury project and will be in Monaco for the Grand Prix taking place on the 25th and 26th of May. ICONS will be taking over a large suite on board of this superyacht moored trackside and I’ll be conducting private styling sessions and present an exclusive selection of menswear, womenswear and jewelry from the 22nd evening until the 26th. Access to the selection will be by appointment only and includes a variety of international brands and some couture pieces.
