At the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, Vialina Lemann’s schedule moved between cinema, fashion and a subject increasingly central to her public work: women’s empowerment. Across four days on the Lido, the Uzbek model attended major premieres and gala events while taking on a new ambassadorial role and receiving international recognition for her work.

Central to Lemann’s Venice appearance was her appointment as Ambassador for Women Empowerment for the Kinéo Award 2026. During the award’s 25th edition, she participated in the ceremony and presented honours to choreographer and creative director Luca Tommassini and actress Nicola Peltz Beckham.
The appointment adds another dimension to a career that increasingly extends beyond modelling. For Lemann, visibility has become a means of drawing attention to women’s agency, cultural diversity and contemporary ideas of leadership.
That direction was also recognised during the festival with the Forbes Unconventional Award – Women Empowerment, celebrating her professional achievements and commitment to supporting women.
The recognition follows a series of recent distinctions: in Cannes, Sharon Stone presented Lemann with the Best Achievement Award on behalf of the Better World Fund, while The Millionaire Concept honoured her with its Voice of Change Award. In 2025, she also received a Special Mention at the TAO Awards for her work concerning women’s rights and cultural diversity.
Four Days, Four Fashion Moments
Fashion provided another thread through Lemann’s Venice appearances, with couture and high jewellery accompanying a succession of premieres, ceremonies and evening events.
On 5 September, Lemann attended the red carpet for Nanni Moretti’s Succederà questa notte alongside Turkish actor Alp Navruz. For the occasion, she wore a creation by Qutaiba Aldreiei, paired with GRAFF jewellery.
The following evening brought a different register. At the amfAR Gala Venezia on 6 September, Lemann appeared in a complete Schiaparelli look with Bulgari jewellery.
She returned to Schiaparelli on 7 September for the Forbes Unconventional Excellence event, once again pairing the house’s distinctive design language with Bulgari pieces.
Her final listed appearance came on 8 September for the red carpet of Alex Gibney’s Musk, where she was joined by actor and model Simone Susinna. Lemann selected a one-of-a-kind Ranevsky Couture creation, complemented by GRAFF jewellery and Tom Ford shoes.
Beyond the Red Carpet
The Venice Film Festival has long existed at the intersection of cinema and fashion, yet Lemann’s 2026 appearance introduced a third element: advocacy.
The awards, ambassadorial appointment and public engagements placed questions of female representation alongside the traditional rhythm of premieres and evening events.
Her role with Kinéo was particularly significant in this respect. Rather than appearing solely as a guest, Lemann participated in the ceremony as an ambassador and presenter, positioning her Venice presence around both recognition and responsibility.
For an international model whose recent distinctions increasingly reference social impact, Venice marked another stage in an evolving public profile.
Couture may have framed the photographs from the Lido, but the larger story was about how Lemann is choosing to use the platform surrounding them.
