What ignited my passion for haute parfumerie and led to the creation of House of Sillage?
My first exposure to fragrance came from my Mother. I would watch her get ready for a night out, her ritual of makeup, hair, a beautiful dress, and those sky high heels. And of course the perfume was the final touch, the exquisite exhale of her entire evening. It felt like the opulence of who she wanted to be, a ceremony of self creation she performed with such grace. That image made a profound impression on me and showed me how powerful scent can be as a form of self expression. It started with a fierce belief that scent holds memories in a way no other sense does.
I remember fragrances from my childhood that felt like whispered stories, but I craved something deeper something that spoke to the complexities inside me and to the women I imagined wearing these scents. My dream was to create perfumes that carried a mood a moment a personal ritual rather than just a fragrance you admire from afar. House of Sillage became my way of inviting others into that intimate theater where scent and emotion entwine. It is a lifelong conversation with fragrance and I feel grateful every day for the chance to keep asking the questions and to keep listening for the answers.

Insights into the unique sourcing process for rare components in our fragrances?
Sourcing is a love letter to patience and to a touch of magic. When we find those rare notes to use in fragrances the moment feels almost unreal like discovering a hidden melody you have been listening for your whole life. But the risk is real too these notes can vanish forever and then the door closes on a scent that depended on them. It makes every discovery feel precious and every loss sting a little. That tension is what keeps us awake at night and keeps us leaning into the craft with reverence.

Walk us through the creative journey of developing a new fragrance bottle at House of Sillage?
The journey begins with a story in inspiration I picture the wearer stepping into a room as they carry a felling of confidence, empowerment, beauty, abundance, love, and sensuality. That story becomes the heartbeat of the bottle design.
We then turn to the most extraordinary atelier partners in the world to bring that heartbeat to life. We collaborate with master artisans who push the boundaries of what a bottle can be. Envision enamel inlays that glow with a quiet fire and mother of pearl that shifts with the light like a living membrane over the glass. Every surface is sculpted to feel like a jewelry moment in its own right because our belief is that the bottle should be a wearable memory as well as a vessel for scent.
The realm of possibility expands as we consider a crown of elements that catch the eye from every angle. We plate our caps in 18 karat gold and Swarovski multifaceted crystals are set with meticulous precision to catch light at every stand and to pulse with the wearer’s movements. We bring in the art of Ateliers for intricate jeweled designs and motifs that feel both architectural and intimate a reminder that luxury can be a ritual of adornment as well as function.
Many of our most coveted pieces are Limited Editions that become heirlooms the kind of items collectors dream of. Each one is a narrative in metal and stone woven around the scent it houses a tactile prelude to the moment the wearer will step into. We design with longevity in mind not only for beauty but for tolerance to daily use and for the memory those tiny decisions create.
We test and refine every element from how the cap sits on the cap the jewels interacts with light and color. We study the unboxing moment the way the packaging and the cap together tell the same story as the fragrance.
The culmination arrives when the scent is born into the world and the bottle stands as a sanctum on the dresser. It is a piece that invites the wearer to feel powerful to feel cherished to feel unabashedly beautiful. It carries the memory of its creation with romance in a bottle, it is a testament to turning a story into a tangible unforgettable experience.

What is your current favorite fragrance from the House of Sillage collection?
I often choose a fragrance by mood or occasion. If I want focus and a sense of quiet power I lean toward a composition with a clean, luminous heart that anchors the day. For a moment of celebration or a high energy meeting I might choose something richer and more radiant, a note that elevates the spirit and invites conversation. Sometimes I simply want a scent that aligns with the moment I am living, a little ritual that marks the turn from one part of the day to the next. It carries a warmth that feels like coming home and a spark that says there is more to discover in this day.

Could you share information about the latest releases of your new fragrances?
I would be delighted to share a sense of what we are building, and what is on the horizon for House of Sillage. Studio collaborations continue to push the boundaries of fragrance and design, as we partner with artists and ateliers from around the world to create fragrances that arrive as complete sensory experiences and story telling. Each collaboration feels like a dialogue a fusion of craft and couture that invites collectors to step into a new chapter with us.
You will also find some of our most exquisite fragrances and designs to date as we push our artistry into deeper textures richer amber accords and more luminous light play in the bottles. The result is a collection that feels both intimate and monumental and a treasure for connoisseurs and for anyone who seeks fragrance as a ritual of beauty.
In addition, we are relaunching one of our most sought after Limited Editions. After years of longing and demand, we are reviving a beloved fragrance with a modern reboot it will premiere as a limited number of pieces a contemporary interpretation that respects the original while inviting a new generation to fall in love with its story and its glow. It is a rare opportunity to own a piece of a chapter that helped define our house. Looking ahead you can expect a cadence of releases that blend storytelling with artisanship we will continue to unveil scents that carry a strong point of view and bottles that feel like sculpture objects you would display as well as wear. There will be more limited editions and collectible pieces designed to become family heirlooms and these are crafted with the same care and obsession for detail that set House of Sillage apart.

You are in excellent shape and look fantastic Do you engage in beauty treatments sports or is there a specific secret you follow?
I start my day differently depending on where I am in the world and what the day demands. Some mornings begin with a cold plunge that wakes the body and sharpens the mind, followed by a strong workout that leaves me feeling clear and ready. On other days a long walk through a city awakens the senses, or a refreshing swim and a relaxing sauna sets a slower, luxurious pace. If an early morning meeting calls for speed, I might head straight to the office and reserve the workout for later in the day or opt for something a bit more playful like pickleball to loosen the nerves and spark energy.
I have a soft spot for beauty rituals that treat the self with kindness. I love a massage or a facial, small rituals that remind me that I deserve care and attention just as I deserve ambition and challenge. I also believe deeply in the power of a warm bath at the end of a demanding day, with music that clears the mind and a moment to simply breathe. Loving oneself is the foundation of everything else; when you nourish that relationship you bring a steadiness, focus and generosity to every other part of life.

Three valuable pieces of advice for aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start a successful business?
Lead with your own truth, tell your story from the heart, and trust that the world will feel it and respond to it. People connect with a real voice not a perfect persona. Build a team that shares your values, and understands that success is a shared journey with room for humility. Invest in people, the right teammates will lift you up challenge you and help you see what you cannot yet see. Finally give yourself permission to grow slowly and to adapt be curious and kind to yourself and to others every single day. The heartbeat of a lasting business is the daily quiet discipline of listening learning and choosing courage over comfort.
