American designer, LARA debuted a collaboration with the Chinese Golden Model Search for a runway show presenting 30 Chinese Golden Age models alongside professional models in the debut of the LARA’s latest collection at the iconic La Galerie Bourbon, steps from the Arc de Triomphe.

Following a rigorous three-month global selection, these trailblazing models aged 40 and above dawned gowns from LARA’s mother-of-the-bride collections. Their presence redefined runway representation and delivered a powerful message of inclusivity, cultural pride, and timeless style.
The show unfolded as a visual dialogue between Eastern heritage and contemporary Western design. Models alternated between traditional Chinese Yunsha Huafu and designer wedding couture, with handcrafted fabrics, intricate embroidery, and flowing silhouettes highlighting the fusion of cultures and the enduring elegance of every generation.

This landmark evening followed a live broadcast collaboration on September 26 with Lazio National Television in Rome, Dialogue on Chinese Italian Clothing, a cross cultural fashion program that reached audiences across Europe and advanced the mission of cross civilization dialogue through fashion.
Launched in March 2025, the Golden Age supermodel initiative ignited the viral #ChineseGoldenStyle trend and remains the first global platform exclusively integrating middle aged and senior Chinese models into the international high fashion circuit. Backed by the Golden Age Health Culture and Art Awards, the All China Federation of Trade Unions, and the China Aging Development Foundation, the project stands as a groundbreaking example of China’s cultural industry stepping onto the world stage.
