A few months after the private event, on December 14, a recording of the fashion show of the new Bottega Veneta Spring 2021 collection was published in the format of a short film “The Importance of Wearing Clothes” by Tyrone Lebon.

The secret show was held in October at Sadler’s Wells in London. Only a few special guests were invited. It was prohibited to shoot and talk about what they saw there.

The minimalistic setting, reminiscent of the salon shows of the former format, was accompanied by a change of light in contrasting colors. The models went out in unison with the monologue of the Swedish singer Neneh Cherry, discussing the role and importance of clothing. A voice came out from the speakers:

“I use the things I put on my body as a form of protection; clothes give me courage.”

The collection is headed by tactile sensations and comfort. Knitted dresses, cardigans, sweaters, and bags. Even the famous clutch The Pouch has renewed its look and has become a braided one. Comfortable wedge clogs were also there for the feet.

In addition to the massive knit, elegant crocheted dresses and tops were presented. A dress made from beads of a car cover could not stay unnoticed.
