A vision of sculpting shapes from cloth—hatbands spiraled and tiered, ribbons flowing or looped into bubble hems, and tailoring wrapped and creased, with trapezoids emerging from the fabric. This poetic craftsmanship showcases materials like silk, panama organza, and fine gauze cotton knitwear, evoking a diaphanous quality through tulle overlays, translucent like layers in a fresco. The collection balances fluidity and practicality, with elongated dresses grounded by trenches and parkas for a sleek, protective feel. Lightweight fabrics like resin-coated linen, cotton, and silk poplin add sporty ease, while raffia, with its bas-relief texture, mirrors the enduring elegance of Akris’ signature horsehair fabric.
