&#39;On Pointe&#39; is a six-part documentary that tracks students from 9 to 17 years old at the New York City Ballet school. This school was created in 1934 by George Blanchine and the philanthropist Lincoln Kirsten. It explores the dedication, passion, and work that the students put in and the often unforgiving nature of ballet.

&#39;First Position&#39; follows six young ballet students from various backgrounds preparing for the Youth America Grand Prix. This competition is where dance companies from around the world scout new talent.&nbsp;

The Mulleavy sisters, who have the label Rodarte, designed the costumes for this Oscar-nominated psycho ballet thriller.&nbsp;

&#39;Billy Eliott&#39; is the story of an 11-year-old coal miner&#39;s son in Northern England. He stumbles on a ballet class one day during his boxing lesson and, from that point on, develops a passion for dance. His natural talent is recognised by the instructor Mrs Wilkinson.&nbsp;

&#39;The Turning Point&#39; is a drama on the world of ballet in New York City. It was nominated for eleven Awards, including Best Picture. It is a fictional rendering of the Brown family and the friendship between the ballerinas Isabel Mirror Brown and Nora Kaye. Brown&#39;s daughter Leslie stars in the film.&nbsp;
